Table tennis in Amoreiras-Gare: a pilot
A new informal space for physical activity and time together across generations.
In July 2026, AMOREIRAS.INFO launched a pilot table tennis programme at the Centro Social de Amoreiras-Gare, in partnership with the Associação para o Desenvolvimento Local de Amoreiras-Gare, the Grupo Desportivo e Recreativo de Amoreiras-Gare and the Casa do Povo de São Martinho das Amoreiras.
Open to different ages and levels of experience, the initiative created a new informal space for physical activity, community interaction and exchange.
